An event every week that begins at 12:45 pm on Saturday, repeating indefinitely
Children may bring their own skates, or rent skates from the rink. This fundamental class teaches a new skater the basic techniques of roller skating which includes balance, good posture and safety. The skaters will be instructed in skating forward, stopping, scissors skating, marching in a circle, two foot squats (the car) and basic backward skating. The skaters will learn the proper technique of falling and getting up onto their skates. Kids will also learn some of the games that are played during the regular skating sessions.
